Empty circles

There is a growing stack of these round things on the floor in my studio as we go through them and pick out the slides we want to keep and scan to digital. Since this is foremost my journal, this activity is recorded with this blip for the weekly blip challenge and the added 50mm challenge which gave me a good opportunity to use the f/1.8 and focus where I wanted. I could say something about “the circle of life” that we are condensing, or “going around in circles”, taking one kind of picture and making it into another, focusing on certain portions. Does this even make sense?

Or ...I could just let it be a photo with a pattern of circles and little stripey bits and some numbers :-)

Only about 50 to go! (sigh, altho we are enjoying the shows!). Anyone have any ideas for making a sculpture from these? Does anyone use them? We also have a large bag of discarded slides! And boxes (which can become artist books….with some effort)
