Pathway to Windmill Park

I have no idea how old these Cottonwood trees are along Oak Creek. Some of these are the largest in the area and I would guess they're 6 ft (2m) in diameter. I thought mono would characterize their solemn condition as only the very top branches are beginning to show some life this spring. Others in town along the Verde river are many days ahead of these trees. Another wonderful clear and 70'ish degree day.
