A Pendle Hill view from the canal path in Rishton.
The Alpha Course at the Baptist Church was on a subject I always love, the Fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Afterwards, Cherie and I walked along the High Street in the powerful, cold wind and I went home to collect the camera.
I was keen to capture a canal view with some billowy clouds and thankfully the image of Pendle Hill can be seen in the background too.
This is the place where the canal bank needed repairing last year.
The cats are both indoors as they are not happy in the wind.
They find cosy places near radiators or they spring into action and grap the cushions on the sofa when I go into the kitchen to make a brew.
It is a cat's life!
Maria is enthusiastically painting the area above the stair treds in nice pastel colours, green, blue and pink, pale yellow and mauve, using match pots from Wilkinsons. We have wanted to do this for a long time.
Will blip it next week.
I hope the weather is kind to you all and have a great weekend blipper friends.
