Polyanthus and One Planet shop displays.

It has been an enjoyable and busy day.
I went on the train to Accrington in very cold weather and it stayed cold all day.
Very few customers came into the shop apart from the regulars.
It was H's birthday yesterday and as it was a special one, we celebrated with cream cakes.
She is doing a work placement with us from the local college for five weeks as part of an employablility scheme.
We hope to also work in conjunction with the Women's Centre, who run a course that leads to a Level 2 certificate in volunteering.
There are specific skills that can be honed, such as using spreadsheets, placing orders, serving customers, using the till and window displays.
Product knowledge is pretty important too and that comes with training and experience of working in the shop.
The blip is about the current window displays on the theme of Spring.
The polyanthus are growing in planters near the shop and I loved their bright colours on such a cold and rainy day.
