The Wet Shoes Were Worth It!

As you can see by the image we had some rain!! Celebrations are in order :)

It was very dark when I woke at my usual time and I was confused for a minute checking the clock to see if it was correct!

I looked out the window and saw all the clouds but didnt at first think they looked like rain clouds. After breakfast as Toto and I were getting ready to go for a walk there was this soft noise on the roof and I didnt immediately recognise it (its been so long) but Toto jumped up onto the bed and then to the window to look out and see what it was!

Then it came down in a rush and I took lots of shots from the window. Once the traffic went through the water on the road it looked like soapsuds, very unusual. Its been around 110 days since we had any rain!!

It eased off a little and I decided we would still go for a walk anyway and enjoy the feeling of the rain, it wasnt cold it was warm!

As we came close to the bus station I had the camera ready! We were right near a bit of a puddle on the road and when the bus went past I managed to catch this shot and get my shoes wet as well! Toto was drenched and I laughed my head off like a child!! :D

The rain stopped a little while after that and didnt come again. More may fall again tomorrow, I really hope so!!
