Siskin enjoying the 'tidy' tree

The same tree that was given a trim yesterday. There was a beautiful male Redpoll hanging around on the feeder and many flighty Siskins. They are too flighty for me to capture in flight, hence another posing Siskin.

There have been frequent hailstone showers this morning and now a breezy sunny afternoon, so far. I can hear the bread maker clicking through the process, John set this up earlier before going out to work for a couple of hours. He should be home soon much to the delight of the two puss cats who are demanding food. I will now resume my reading of the William Boyd book: Waiting for Sunrise.
