Rock crushers

These guys discovered a pile of soft rocks on Monday, that could be crushed quite easily with a hammer. So they set to work making sand. They crushed and sifted all afternoon Monday and much of Tuesday morning and made themselves a good sized container of fine sand which they used for hiding and digging up treasures, drawing in, and just swirling their fingers through. Funny what things suddenly capture their imaginations.

I took this secretly from inside so I could get an unposed shot of them working so it's not great, the window screen was not made for blippers, but I love it :0)
