Essential for preparing traditional Japanese matcha green tea, the chasen is a small whisk made from a single piece of bamboo. This tool is itself a small work of art, beautiful in its simplicity. I spotted it this morning in an upper cupboard and I was reminded that it's been a while since I've enjoyed a bowl of matcha. Hopefully tomorrow...

Pretty typical day today spent working with a couple good walks squeezed in during the day (10,420 steps - yay). Dinner was leftover portions of a Turkish-inspired Zucchini Musakka I cooked yesterday - delicious and easy!

Winding down the day with a nice Armagnac and some Blip time.
