Isn't she something?
It has been quite a while since I have blipped a female cardinal, so tonight you are being treated to this cheeky little bird with the huge peanut clenched in her beak. I can't help admiring this female of the species. The males, just by dint of their bright (and admittedly handsome) red feathers, seem to get so much more attention than the ladies, but my personal opinion is that the Mrs. is more spunky and personable than her handsome (but sometimes overly proud) mate. Is there anyone out there that agrees with me?
P.S. Thanks for all the comments and stars on yesterday's geese and my MonoMonday water blip. It was rather special to hear the views of so many of you.
