Its a bench....

Today there was an official opening of one of our village schemes. The 10 houses were finished and occupied in September. Would have better to hold the event then as it was soooooo cold today. Anyway we presented this bench to the residents (none of which could be at the event as they were all at work -doh!!) The official bit was carried out by Lord Petre, Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant for Essex. Not sure if you can see but he had spurs on his shoes - some uniform!

Managed to get out for a run before tea - I really feel better after a run and usually go out in the morning before work, but I don't seem to find the energy for it now - must be an age thing!
