Didn't get off to a great start today - lay awake for a couple of hours with my mind churning - quite a busy week ahead both at work and home.

I accompanied my other half who was speaking in a small village chapel not too far from where we live. The sky was extermely dark and heavy and lots of water on the road on the journey out.

I try to support my hubby when he gets invited to speak at churches and chapels, but it's not always possible. He has spent quite a few days away recently so it was good to spend some time together today.

After a rather yummy lunch in a local pub we came home via Toys R Us and managed to secure our grandsons christmas present in less than 5 minutes!

Ironing mountain demolished and time now to rest up with a chilled white!
