Bushey Park

Had a lovely walk with Charlie. As I have him on the long line, I keep off the path as I'm worried about tripping other people up. As a result he scampers about over the molehills and gets very exhausted!

Very busy day. Here's what I did, in order, starting at 6.45am;

Took Charlie out
Gave Charlie breakfast
Made children's packed lunches
Made chicken stew for dinner
Stayed calm when Al told me he hadn't done his homework
Made breakfasts for children
Put dirty washing on
Put away clean washing
Marvelled at Al's ability to do his homework in record breaking time when under extreme pressure
Did ironing
Took Al to school
Went to supermarket to buy things I forgot yesterday
Went for a run
Took Charlie for a walk
Gave Charlie lunch
Picked up Al from one school, took him to the other
Wrote 14 emails to local councillors & MP's regarding a local issue that is affecting lots of people I know
Met three other school mums for coffee before schools singing festival
Laughed at the schools inadequacies with hollowness in direct proportion to how many children / terms we have left (I was the most lighthearted with 1 / 4
Went to see Al in a schools singing festival
Nearly fainted from heat in theatre at schools singing festival
Remembered from last time how idiotic the compere is in schools singing festival
Bought Al home from singing festival
Read a chapter of Wuthering Heights with Betsy and discussed what Linton can be suffering from. Googled it; tuberculosis
Read another chapter of Wuthering Heights, discussed what Edgar might be dying of. Googled it; nobody cares
Said that I did not want to miss the beginning of The Great British Sewing Bee
Cooked veg to go with the chicken stew in face of comments from children that veg unnecessary
