Lincoln Central Station

It is still known as Central, despite it being the only station since the mid - '80's! It was designed in 1848 for the Great Northern Railway by J H Taylor, in a stone "Baronial" style.

Shame there's a chunk of tatty wall in the way! If I'd gone to an angle to lose the wall there were trees in the way! It was the trees that I'd actually hoped to photograph, as they have Rook nests in, but I will wait until the rooks have returned to the nests - hopefully soon! Another trip to the draughty top of the Co-op car park!
