environmental portrait, take 1

Happy St Patrick's Day to all.

As always we spent most of it in the garden. But I diverged from tradition this morning and left himself to make a start on planting the potatoes while I went to see BAT, who kindly agreed to be my subject in my first attempt at entering a competition through the Camera Club. The subject being Environmental Portrait.
I am way out of my photographic comfort zone here, but it was a fun morning, and I am quite pleased with the result.
