Humpers in Holmes Beach

We weren't going to go to the St. Patrick's Day parade, because it tends to be the same thing year after year. Plus...we were having company for dinner.

But, how many times do you get to see camels and elephants? And...camels and elephants walking in a parade...not in a zoo enclosure? I set off with my camel-shootin Canon.

I still haven't figured out what either animal has to do with St. Patrick's Day, but I do know this. Both animals are not pretty. In fact...they're close to ugly. Ugly...but magnificent. (Can they be both of those?)

I tried not to...but I had a vision of the elephant breaking loose, and stampeding the crowd. I tried to formulate my plan...only coming up with this headline. OLD MAN WITH CAMERA TACKLES ELEPHANT, AND WRESTLES HIM TO THE GROUND...SAVING THOUSANDS. (It could happen.)
