the day the leaves blew off
I just couldn't resist another visit to the starling murmuration in the Peak District. Again they threw some fantastic shapes and put on an unbelievable display. From the forecast I had hoped for a nice sunset as a backdrop but that wasn't to be.
whilst this shot was less dramatic for sheer numbers of birds or the twirling shapes than some of my shots, I did like the effect to the lone tree. It looked as though Autumn had returned and it certainly was windy and cold enough up there.
