A Trip to the Seaside

The choice this morning was more work in Mum's garden, or a trip to the seaside ...umm ... difficult :)

So we headed to St Margaret's Bay near Dover and had a lovely relaxing day with Mum sitting on the beach reading her kindle, while I took a walk along the shoreline looking for interesting photos. With a clear blue sky and bright sun, the light wasn't ideal, but I liked the reflection of the waves on this groyne.

Afterwards we headed up to the White Cliffs visitors centre for an ice cream, and a bit more sun bathing in the balmy 20 degree sunshine!
