Tickety Boo!

Eva woke up crying last night, literally to the second that I'd just fallen asleep, didn't half make me jump lol. I changed her wet nappy, rubbed some cream into the top of her back incase that's what had woken her up, and brought her into our bed for a cuddle and some milk. She was back asleep and snoring away and back in her own bed within about 20 minutes of waking up and slept through til nearly 8 this morning.

By just after 9am we were on our way to Tickety Boo, with a slight detour enroute to pick up Louise and little Rhys. We met Jenny and her little Eva there. Eva went on the bouncy castle first and loved sitting there as I held her and bounced her up and down, she was properly giggling away. She also loved me pushing her around on the little pink ride along and her and Rhys had their picture taken while Rhys was on the little Pirate Ship ride along. The character that came today was Peppa Pig, all the children were surrounding her and moms were taking photos of their little ones standing next to Peppa, Eva watched from a distance clinging onto me, but staring intently. I just love watching her reactions to everything that happens and everything she sees. Our favourite part of Tickety Boo is about the last half hour or so when the dancing and singing starts and we all sit around on the mat, Eva loves to have a good old crawl around wherever she wants to go, which is so lovely considering she's more restricted at home. Today at one point, she crawled over to a little boy who was lying down and lay her head against him, it was so adorable.

I dropped Lou and Rhys home after and Eva had fallen asleep and again was snoring away in the car. I didn't think she'd sleep once we got in then, but she did, in fact I thought she might want a snack when we got back in, but she was just too tired, she had some of my milk and went straight back to sleep in her cot. She slept til nearly 3pm just as my mom arrived, so she must have had nearly 4 hours if you go from when we got in the car after Tickety Boo. How can she need so much sleep? Mike said jokingly earlier "I wonder where she gets that from?" meaning me :-)

She ate about half her lunch when she woke up and my mom fed her a yoghurt, so her appetite seems to slowly be returning. Me and my mom had a good chin wag and played with Eva and her toys then in the lounge.

Mike gave Eva her bath tonight and she'd had her milk and was fast asleep in bed by 7.30pm. I think she's only been awake 6 hours today, I can't believe it. Xxx
