spring!!! Yay!!

As I said last year, the first day I see a bee fly in my garden, is in my books the first day of spring and yes!! I saw 2 today,a full month earlier than last year - oh yes!!
I ran my trap all night for the first time this year and caught 3 moths, a Hebrew Character, a common quaker, and best of all an oak beauty, a completely new record for my little garden.
A quick trip out and I found this lovely male Brimstone Gonepteryx rhamni such a lovely colour and so leaflike, sitting on a daffodil ....stunning!!
Running the moth trap again tonight, so hopefully some moth pics tomorrow.....
