Golden Glow

It's been a lovely relaxing weekend - worlds away from last weekends epic camping/birding trip into the wheatbelt. After vegging out round the house and running a few errands I decided to take Bonnie to the beach - it had been too long between visits! I had also planned to visit sculptures by the sea - but the number of people and cars was instantly off putting - that will be a weekday outing I think!

I love this shot of her... face up to the sun, ears flapping in the breeze. In her element :) I played around quite a bit with the tones and ended up very happy with this de-saturated image, quite a bit more muted from the very golden afternoon sun. I like how it has a slightly old look to it
