Left Paihia just after 10 am for Auckland. Cyclone Luci did cause some flooding to the shops on the water front at Paihia. We stopped off to see the Kawakawa Hundertwasser's Toilets – any Billy Connelly fans may have seen them on his on his World Tour of New Zealand TV series.

Next stop was at the Kaipara Coast Sculpture Garden. The Blip is of one of these sculptures by Bruce Young who lives and works in Whangarel. After an hour and half of wandering the sculpture garden we set off for our motel in Auckland. Tomorrow we will visit a couple of the attractions in Auckland.
