Nick The Dog Whisperer

Oh my goodness me this man is amazing.

My friend AJ suggested I book an appointment with him a while ago but I resisted. I gave in eventually because he was in my area and I was struggling with house training Charlie. I hadn't thought much further than that really.

Then I went to the puppy training classes yesterday where Charlie and I were the utter dunces of the class, and even the trainer herself couldn't make Charlie listen, and I was very glad he was coming today.

Last night the trainer couldn't get Charlie to sit. She couldn't even get him to stay still. As you can see, Nick was rather different!

He was so amazing. Charlie worshipped him (so did I) and 24 hours after that woman told me she would have to bribe him with frankfurter sausage to even sit, I was able to get Charlie to sit, come, stay, lie down, and wait. I did not need sausage either! I can even get him to sit and wait before going to his bowl when it's full if food! He is the greediest dog I've ever seen and usually jumps up and down yelping hysterically so this was a huge deal!

I think the other trainer was rubbish and am tempted not to go back. The only reason I might is to show her that I can get Charlie to sit even if she can't and also because if I don't go, she will think its because I'm rubbish, not because she is!

However, I'm essentially a lazy person so I'm not sure I can be bothered to make the effort to go all the way there just to be like that!
