Cemetery

Was beautifully misty this morning so I ran in the cemetery instead of the park because I knew it would be beautiful in there and it was.

I noticed this grave - it's from 1927 but someone has recently left a bible on it. It was wet from the dew but obviously hadn't been there long.

Took Charlie to first puppy training and socialisation class. God, it was embarrassing!

Charlie was the only dog that weed on the floor - twice! (Though I ignored the second one hoping someone would blame one of the other dogs). Also, he would not sit! He maypoled around me, tying me in knots and wouldn't listen to a word I said! He wouldn't even look at me! The trainer rolled her eyes and came to show me how it was done, but then even she couldn't get him to do it! He leapt around her, jumping up, ears flapping like a loon. She was clearly surprised and said next week she will bring frankfurters and cheese presumably thinking she might tempt him into some sort of compliance with high fat human food.

When I told Chris, he said it made sense; there wasn't much he wouldn't do for a footlong'n'cheese.
