A morning blip

Decided on an indoor blip this morning in J's sitting room, as it is dank and grey outside so I'm not building up hopes for moody Derwentwater shots after yesterday's disappointment.

We have only two lectures today, but they'll both be lively - John Crace with John Sutherland, "Digesting Literature", and Alan Johnson talking about his autobiography "Man and Boy" which has had excellent reviews.

After that, a cup of tea, a walk, good conversation with an old friend, then a meal out - what a day of treats.
