Waiting for Lunch

A quick Friday lunchtime walk down to the Water of Leith. The sun has disappeared behind the cloud and the wind has picked up. It feels pretty cold. Just below the Dean village weir, I spot this fine fellow looking for a spot of lunch.

Recently the river has been pretty high, but now the water level has dropped, the herons are back, and looking hungry.
