Good to be alive

After many days of rain, today was a smashing day. It was a day of 74 cycled miles from Edinburgh to North Berwick and back again. It was a day of free-wheeling down braes, whooping with joy as the winter sunshine sparkled and my body enjoyed the excertion. It was a day of shouting at myself to put more effort in on the way up the hills, knowing full well that as always in life, every uphill is followed by a delightful downhill, and so it was. . . .

Of course I stopped by at Gullane for a visit to Falko Kondermeister and more delights.

Yep, a good day to be alive.
