Sculpture

This lovely gate is part of a sculpture trail at a local nursery. The nursery was owned by one lady who every year invited artists to display their sculptures around her land and opened it up to the public. It was an event we all really enjoyed as the landscape is beautiful and the children loved touching the sculptures as many of them were very tactile.

Unfortunately, the lady had to sell the nursery and the people who now own it have made it purely residential. It looks like this gate is the only remaining piece of sculpture.

Feeling much brighter today - hubby treated me to lunch out and a group of girlfriends have organised a meal out tomorrow night, how lovely!
