Shetland Museum

A dull windy day with a few sunny spells and heavy rain showers most of the day.

We are now coming to the last of the Up Helly Aa's across Shetland. Today is the South Mainland UHA and a poor day for it. I can't be bothered to watch the galley burning in the wind and rain but I am taking my oldest two nieces to it tonight. We are going up to the local village hall where silly acts will be performed and a visit from the Viking Jarls Squad.

I mangaed to catch a wee bit of blue skies today at lunchtime over the Shetland Museum and this is also the building I work in, Lerwick :)
