Silent but deadly

So I was in the not supermarket carpark, minding my own business, in a world of my own as I wandered between my car and the shop when I was very nearly kersplatted by one of those eco friendly hybrid Lexi* in its electric mode, damn thing, the driver was reversing, silently. I'm assuming (given the fact that I'm alive and kicking) that the car had beepbeeps & I hope s/he got a nasty shock when it suddenly went BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

In other news today, I got flashed (and not by someone warning me of a speedtrap - that was Wednesday) by two boys...admittedly they were aged maybe six and it was their bellies they exposed (and their teeth) but still, mad world eh?

* isn't that the plural of Lexus...?
