Not Quite David Lean
Street cemetery sits on a slope on the edge of town, looking out across the Levels to the Mendip Hills. The area just through the porch is home to some of the oldest and most ornate memorials and I've always liked this one with its ivy, fancy scrolls and tenderly optimistic inscription.
Having spent the morning in Chris's flat waiting for a estate agent to come and value it, I was too late to catch it in this morning's fog, so it was another chance to play with Snapseed to get something of the opening of Great Expectations atmosphere I was hoping for.
