Thanksgiving

Holiday dinner was enjoyed at our daughter's home. We feasted on a delicious traditional Thanksgiving meal:

Roasted turkey
Ham
Mashed potatoes
Stuffing
Gravy
Corn
Green bean casserole
Yams topped with marshmellows
Cranberry jellied sauce
Pumpkin pie with whipped cream
Apple pie with vanilla ice cream

All 14 of us consumed enough food to create a relaxed, lazy, drowsy late afternoon.

The collective "we" included Mr. Fun's mom, also known as Grammie Fun; Mr. Fun & Rosie; Fun daughter, Deidre, and her Fun hubby, our son-in-law -- John, and their 2 Fun kids (our granddaughter, Ashly, and grandson Emerson; son-in-law's parents, Rollie & Bonnie; son-in-law's brother, Scott and brother's twin sister, Terri, and her hubby, Russ and 2 daughters, Danille and Jennifer. The 4 dogs added to the excitement -- Patches, a Jack Russell; Katie, a Westie; Bob dog, our Lhasa Apso; and Gunner, a Shitzu.

We're thankful for life, for the freedom to vote, the freedom to receive an education, the freedom to worship. We're thankful for a God Who loves us, a family who gives us meaning, for friends who enhance our lives, for Blipfoto providing the motivation to record and document our lives as creatively as possible, and for so much more.

We're still at Fun daughter's house enjoying the evening.
