Scialytic

Well, this was a tough one. This is the DDW Challenge word for today and it was a real challenge. The definition is dispelling shadows or as a noun, the art of shading. This is a drawing from one of Sumner's sketch books. Even though she was a Graphic Design artist, she didn't like drawing. She did it when she had to, i.e. her professor required it. But I am hoping that the lack of shadowing and the shading covers the word for today. Did anyone else see the Facebook page for Scialytic? Apparently, it is a type of music or a band with that name.
