Extrapolate

"Extend the application of (a method or conclusion) to an unknown situation by assuming that existing trends will continue or similar methods will be applicable."

'Extrapolate' is the title of this metal sculpture that I found tucked away behind one of the buildings on campus. I have no idea why it has that name, nor could I see the name of the artist who had created it.

The sculpture is actually pretty large, this is just a detail of it.

As I've said before, the campus is full of surprises.
