adjective \¦sīə¦litik\
: dispersing or dispelling shadows
This morning, we awoke at 6:00 a.m. to dark morning skies and 14 degrees F. We happily drove to the airport, and flew to Florida for a few days to visit Richard's almost 90-year-old mother (who isn't doing too well), and also grab some grandparent time with our beautiful boy Jackson.
What a difference a thousand miles or so makes! Exiting the plane in Orlando, the temperatures were warm and balmy. Here is a rather rushed shot of the sun busily dispelling the shadows of a tropical palm tree in Vero Beach this afternoon. We are headed out to visit the MIL in her rehab facility, then off to dinner with Richard's 90 year-old dad for (an early!) dinner. Tomorrow, we collect our almost five year-old bundle of joy for a couple of sleepover nights! Can't WAIT!
