Amazon to Argentina

Who made the holes in this leaf? Did they know they ascended perfectly from smallest to largest? I have this image of a little beetle (possibly the star of some future pixar movie) having aspirations to leave the amazon and journey to Paris or New York to follow his dreams of being an artist.

In more unimaginative news, in the the hours following our departure from the Amazon, we had a long wait in the smallest airport I have ever seen, a long car trip into Lima, a broken bag and eventually another flight to Buenos Aires to begin our Christmas Eve.

The hotel in Buenos Aires was gorgeous, and we had fun drinking red wine, listening to music and playing cards. Unfortunately when we ventured out for dinner it took us hours to be served! Altogether not the most amazing 48hrs, but definitely memorable!
