Green Rosella
Lake Pedder in the central of Tasmania, is a well known haunt for those tourists who wish to catalogue the bird life in the forests.
Because this area is classed as a World Heritage site with virtually untouched old growth forests, the bird life is prolific.
This species of parrot known as the Green Rosella, flock in at dusk most evenings and are quite tame.
The art of bird watching is to be patient.
