New Friend

Rounding the bend with Tilly totally drenched in water and mud we had a head on encounter with this fellow. Why he should have taken a fancy the wet, smelly, dripping less than white westie I fail to imagine - but he did! Chasing round in the water and deep slimy mud was just the ticket for a Tuesday morning!!

It was only meant to be a quick walk to get a blip but Tilly decided she was going to dive headlong into a stream. Just because you can see the bottom doesn't mean you can touch the bottom which was such a shock as she swam to the bank. The result meant she had to sit on the front seat of the car plastering mud absolutely everywhere...grinning from ear to ear! Meeting a new friend too was a bonus!

The boiler now has totally packed up last night and the gas cylinders for the lounge need changing to add to yesterday's list! The man is coming to look at the gates on Friday as we can only get in and out of the drive using a screw driver which is less than satisfactory, the tap is still leaking, but hopefully I'll get the new TV tomorrow. If only my parents knew how hard we are trying to get things on track here, before they come down :))
