Dock

Rumex obtusigolius - broad leafed dock.
As a child I always used these to rub on nettle stings. It turns out they contain an alkaline which helps to neutralise the formic acid in nettles.
Another name is butter dock - the biggest leaves were traditionally used to wrap home made butter and keep it fresh.
