A Surprise Celebration
Yesterday (yes, I cheated on this one), whilst I was away cycling, a special friend and my daughter organised a surprise high tea to celebrate my wife's 60th. Lorraine was left holding her granddaughter out the front of our house when a limousine full of her friends arrived to pick her up. She was totally blown away. I am told she stood there with her mouth open and tears in her eyes.
My wife is a catalyst with an amazing ability to quietly make things happen but she tends to avoid being the centre of attention. Our friends really appreciate what she does and made the celebration special. They all had a fantastic afternoon.
I arrived home from my ride at Newcastle to capture Lorraine arriving home. It was such a joy to hear the stories of the afternoon!
Thank you Linda and Kerri.
