Loop the Lake

Today was the annual 'Loop the Lake' cycle around Lake Macquarie (south of Newcastle). The ride is organised by the Rotary Clubs in the area and I have enjoyed participating for a number of years. Most years I have ridden with my good friend Chris, he is the fellow in the yellow helmit.
We averaged 23 kilometres/hour for the 90kms which we thought was not too bad for a couple of old blokes who were on hybrid bikes.
We stayed at my son's in Eleebana. He lives on a very steep hill so it was a challenging way to complete our ride!
