Road Trip day 15

Today we drove from Cottonwood, AZ to Scottsdale, AZ.

We took the scenic route instead of the highway and drove part of the "Apache Trail". We saw lots of Saguaros, the ones you might think about when you think about Arizona. This cactus can grow about 70 ft tall (20 m).
We passed the Roosevelt Dam, which wasn't as impressive as the Glen Canyon Dam. Nature here is beautiful.
We visited Tonto National Monument. Another cliff dwelling. It was really hot in the Sonoran Desert, and it was quite a climb going up to the cliff dwelling, but the view from the top was great.
