beets me!

Chris and I walked to our farmer's market this morning and I bought this bunch of organic beets for only $2, what a bargain. The greens look so fresh too, so it's like 2 veggies for the price of one! On the way back home we stopped for lunch at Chaat Cafe; samosas & wraps... mmmm.

Mom & Gene will be arriving soon for a brief one-night stay at our home on their way back from Carmel.
