Mad Frogs!
We went for a short walk along the River Greta from Keswick today and we ended up walking higher than the river on our return through forestry land.
This was where I spied a bubbling puddle. Looking closer I realised it was full of frogs and spawn. Not the best place for the next generation of frogs to grow. The puddle had been made by tyre tracks, so it was likely the same forestry vehicle would come this way again. And if it doesn't rain again soon, the puddle will disappear...
Fingers crossed neither of these things will happen and there will be more frogs to come.
