Wheeeee!!!!!!!

Day 433 - can it really be true? Can it really be here? Has Spring sprung on a 16-18 degree high and the first tee shirt day of the year???

Fabulous sunny day over the Chase with the little dude, despite the hoards who also had the same idea. The cafe even ran out of ice cream!

It was while Roo was kicking his ball about outside said cafe that he created a 'Marley and Me' episode. Or rather a bouncing Labrador called Milo did, who on spotting the boy's ball leaped owner and all over some bikes to make a grab for it. Unfortunately, the owners attempts to throw the ball back to the boy only made the dog more mental and carried on dragging her across several picnickers in pursuit. Eventually, Milo, owner and Roo managed to work it out without too much more damage. I of course sat eating my toastie laughing my head off - was too good a show to stop it!

After that it was more bike riding. His confidence keeps on growing and was loving the thrill of a 3 bump decent at speed with his legs out and little skids at the end.

All was good until a bee freaked him out so much that he threw himself bike and all forward. He now has the first biking badge of honour - grit cut palms. A swift purchase of some bike gloves and he was back in the saddle.
