Saturday's Child

Day 68 - and the start of the mummy and Roo weekend, its been a while. So our first Saturday in an age together consisted of the following:

1. Minor huffing at each other cos we were hungry.
2. The above rectified by a hearty farmers breakfast at the farm shop. Despite the boy's protest of no longer liking sausages he ate the plate full.
3. Haircut for the boy who dictated to the poor girl exactly how much he wanted off and where - diva much!
4. Mother's Day present buying, the boy has good taste and chose an orchid for Nanna.
5. Shopping for the long nagged for school uniform fleece and a new skateboard. I managed two minutes of shopping for me.
6. Visited the rents for indoor football, watching the football / rugby, a smashing beef dinner followed by trifle (yum), finished off with a Jones' take on catch / piggy in the middle.
7. A loud bathtime with the boy singing his own version of Wigan footy chants and a complete recap of the game through the medium of song - was delightful :/
8. Early night for Sunday funage.
