I'm in the Hot Seat!

Eve was looking quite the little lady today.
A very sad day today. This afternoon we heard a dog screaming outside and discovered that there had been an accident. Andrew and I ran our to help and discovered that a neighbour's dog was trapped under the car. With the help of several other neighbours we managed to jack up the car and rescue the dog, a Great Dane. Owner and dog were raced to the vet in a neighbour's van and it seemed that the injuries were less severe than it looked but sadly, there must have been internal injuries and the poor dog passed away.
Please all dog owners out there, make absolutely certain that your boundaries are secure and dog-proof, especially if your dog has the run of the garden. I do not want to hear a dog scream like that ever again!
