AT THE SWIMMING GALA

...a study in body language and the art of inattention.
Like many other enthusiastic grand parents I wear my grandson's House colour, navy, as instructed and with his Mum we assist in spurring the young swimmers on with our cheering from the side lines.
I take far too many photos but only get to enjoy this one when I crop it. The pupil in the lower left corner is attempting to pull his eyelids down over his cheeks. The older pupil on the right hand side is leading the chanting and cheering.
