Dehydration

It's hot, and it's dry. The grass is dying. Today we've dried off some cows, in an attempt to keep condition on their body. We need rain desperately. Luckily we have turnips and silage to feed the remaining cows, which will help keep them milking until it rains and the grass grows.

We got a few drops of rain this afternoon, but all that did was tease us. The sun is out now, and it is just as hot as it was before we had the few drops of rain.
