Jump Rope

Every year my elementary school has an intra-school long jump rope competition. Each class has a rope and the kids jump one at a time as many times as possible within 3 minutes. This year, the winners, a 6th grade class, had 258 jumps. All of the classes practiced before school and at lunchtime for at least a month. The competition was postponed twice due to a high number of absences from the flu, but finally, three weeks later they competed today. It's fun to watch. The big kids are really fast and the little guys are really slow and cute and don't jump very well. It's a fun day I always look forward to.
