Sunshine Saturday

After an afternoon working in the garden, I picked these hellebores and camellias to enjoy indoors, floating in a bowl of water.
Much raking, cutting down, and sweeping, and mixed feelings of beginning to make a difference, with an appreciation of the enormity of the tasks ahead!
For the first time this year (it's only March 8th, after all) we had a cup of tea outside!

At eight o'clock the moon was up and the stars were very bright indeed! No streetlights in our village!
Saturday night in, by the fireside!
